The first of six $1 million prizes offered in the new “500X” game was won on a ticket purchased at Casey’s, 540 Truman Road, in Osceola. 

“I just had that gut feeling,” the winner shared when asked why he chose to play the Lottery’s newest $50 game.

He went on to add he is still in disbelief about his win. 

“I still don’t really believe it,” he said. “It’s a once in a lifetime thing.”

So far, “500X” players have won over $22.3 million in prizes. Over $235.3 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including two top prizes of $5 million, five additional $1 million prizes and 46 $50,000 prizes. 

In FY22, players in St. Clair County have won more than $1.4 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $144,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $186,000 in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
