A stop at Eastgate Express, 22993 Professional Lane in Lebanon, turned into a $50,000 prize on a “$1,000,000 Cash Extravaganza” Scratchers ticket.

“I usually buy that game, so I just picked it up like normal,” the winner said.

However, his experience was far from routine once he scratched it off and saw how much he had won.

“I just couldn’t really believe it,” he said, while claiming his prize at the Missouri Lottery’s regional office in Springfield. “It’s exciting for sure!”

So far, “$1,000,000 Cash Extravaganza” players have won over $17.9 million in prizes playing the $10 game. Over $16.1 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including one top prize of $1 million and two more $50,000 prizes.  

In FY22, players in Laclede County won more than $7.2 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $705,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $791,000 in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
