A lucky Scratchers player has claimed one of the $100,000 top prizes available in the Missouri Lottery’s “Whole Lotta $50s” game. The winning ticket was purchased at Karsch’s Village Market, 1730 Old State Road M, in Barnhart.

“Whole Lotta $500s” is a $5 Scratchers game that became available in March. Since then, players have claimed more than $4 million of the game’s prizes, leaving more than $11.8 million in prizes unclaimed, including three more prizes of $100,000.

In the last fiscal year, players in Jefferson County won more than $42.1 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers in the county received more than $3.9 million in commissions and bonuses for selling Lottery products and an additional $14.5 million in appropriated Lottery funds went to educational programs in the county.
