$100,000 Powerball Prize Won in Hazelwood

Feb 06, 2023

Thanks to a decision to add the Power Play option to his ticket, a Missouri Lottery player turned a $50,000 Powerball prize into a $100,000 win. His ticket for the Nov. 7 drawing matched four of the white-ball numbers drawn, as well as the Powerball number, to win the base prize of $50,000. The prize instantly doubled to $100,000 when the Power Play number drawn was 2.

The winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven, 6085 N. Lindbergh Blvd. in Hazelwood, and later claimed at the Missouri Lottery office on Jan. 19.

The winning numbers for the Nov. 7 drawing were 10, 33, 41, 47 and 56, with a Powerball number of 10.

Powerball is a $2 per play multi-state Draw Game with drawings held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. All current and past winning numbers can be found at MOLottery.com.

In FY22, players in St. Louis won more than $205.1 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $19.5 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $39 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
