A Missouri Lottery player uncovered one of seven $100,000 top prizes in the “Triple Cherry Crossword” Scratchers game on a ticket purchased at King Hill Mart & Liquor, 4702 King Hill Ave., in St. Joseph. 

“Triple Cherry Crossword” is a $5 Scratchers game that started Oct. 19, 2022. Since then, players have won more than $5.3 million of the game’s total prizes. This leaves more than $11.6 million in unclaimed prizes, including five other $100,000 top prizes.

In the last fiscal year, Missouri Lottery players won more than $26 million in prizes from tickets purchased in Buchanan County. The county’s retailers received more than $1.6 million in commissions and bonuses, and educational programs in the county received $3.7 million in appropriated Lottery funds.
