$2 Million Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in Laurie

Jan 09, 2023

For the second time in a week, a Missouri Lottery player has won a $1 million base prize by matching all five white-ball numbers drawn in a Powerball drawing. The most recent winning ticket was purchased at FastLane, 200 Brook Lane in Laurie, for the Saturday, Jan. 7, drawing. Because the player also chose to add the Power Play option to their ticket, the prize automatically increased to $2 million. The winning numbers on Saturday were 35, 36, 44, 45, and 67, with a Powerball number of 14.

Draw Games winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winner has until July 6. Prizes can be claimed – by appointment only – at any of the Lottery’s four offices, which are located in Jefferson City, Springfield, St. Louis or Kansas City.

A previous Powerball drawing held on Jan. 2 also produced a “Match Five” winning ticket. That ticket was sold at On the Run, 9401 Manchester Road, in Rock Hill.
