After claiming a $226,000 jackpot prize in the Nov. 23 drawing, a Missouri Lottery player who doesn’t generally buy Show Me Cash tickets is now glad he made the decision to try his luck on one at Victory Lane Fuel and Food, 1424 S. Main St. in Troy.

“I don’t normally play Show Me Cash,” the winner said. “But I wanted to give it a try.”

The day after the drawing, he checked the numbers on his Quick Pick ticket and realized he had won the jackpot prize.

“The first thing I did was call my wife,” he said. “And I told her we were going to be debt free!”

The winning numbers for the Nov. 23 drawing were 4, 5, 6, 12 and 21.

Show Me Cash is drawn daily at 8:59 p.m., with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until won.  Tonight’s Show Me Cash jackpot is estimated at $112,000.

In FY22, players in Lincoln County won more than $9.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $905,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $1.2 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
