Thirteen photos have been selected for the Missouri Lottery’s 2023 “Missouri Waterways” calendar. Missourians all over the state participated in the contest, submitting over 1,100 captivating entries depicting their favorite Missouri waterway for a chance to have their photo featured in the annual calendar.

“We received so many wonderful entries that truly captured the amazing bodies of water within the Show Me State,” said Lester Elder, Missouri Lottery’s executive director.

A photo at Eleven Point River in Oregon County, submitted by Trista Green, was chosen as the contest’s grand-prize winner. The photo will be featured as the 2023 calendar cover, and Green will receive a $500 prize.

Twelve additional waterway photos were selected to represent each of the months. Those winning photographers will receive a $100 prize.

The “Missouri Waterways” calendar will be distributed to the Lottery’s network of over 4,700 retail locations, and each contest winner will also receive a copy. In addition, there will be chances to win calendars through a contest on the Missouri Lottery’s Facebook page.
