A lucky Missouri Lottery player won a $50,000 Powerball prize after purchasing a ticket for the Nov. 5 drawing at On the Run, 42 W. Highway N, in Wentzville.

The winning ticket matched four of the white-ball numbers drawn, as well as the Powerball number. The winning numbers on Nov. 5 were 28, 45, 53, 56 and 69, with a Powerball number of 20.

The player later claimed the prize at the Missouri Lottery office in St. Louis on Nov. 14.

Powerball is a $2 per play multi-state Draw Game with drawings held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. All current and past winning numbers can be found at MOLottery.com.

In FY22, players in St. Charles County won more than $64.3 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $6.2 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $14 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
