After checking his hand-selected numbers at MOLottery.com, a Show Me Cash player discovered he’d won a $129,000 jackpot prize in the Oct. 18 drawing.

“I was looking for the date and I kept saying to myself, ‘Please let it be 10/18, please let it be good through 10/18,” he said.

Once he saw the date and winning numbers did in fact match the numbers he had chosen – 6, 7, 13, 15 and 27 – he was thrilled.

“I was excited, but I’m glad it wasn’t just $50,000,” he said jokingly.

The player bought his winning ticket at Schnucks Market, 1181 Gannon Drive in Festus, where he made the lucky purchase on a whim.

“I just had some extra cash, so I decided to play,” he recalled.

Show Me Cash is drawn daily at 8:59 p.m., with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until won.  Tonight’s Show Me Cash jackpot is estimated at $198,000.

In FY22, players in Jefferson County won more than $42.1 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $3.9 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $14.5 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.

All Missouri Lottery offices are currently open – by appointment only – for claims of $600 or more. Winning tickets may also be claimed by mail.
