Making a quick stop to buy a Lottery ticket on her way to pick up her husband, a Missouri Lottery player uncovered a $50,000 prize on a “Millionaire Blowout” Scratchers game. The winning ticket was purchased at Zingers Mart, 5204 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis.

When the final $50,000 prize was revealed, the winner admitted she was shocked.

 “I was so surprised,” she said. “We’ve been having some tough times and it’s been kind of hard.” 

 “Millionaire Blowout ” is a $50 game that offers prizes from $50 up to $5 million. The game has $223.5 million remaining in unclaimed prizes, including two top prizes of $5 million, 14 $1 million prizes and 34 additional $50,000 prizes.

In FY21, players in St. Louis County won more than $205.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers in the county received more than $19.8 million in commissions and bonuses, and an additional $39.9 million went to education programs in the county.
