A Missouri Lottery player won a $100,000 top prize on her favorite Scratchers game after making a stop at Fast N’ Friendly, 2341 W. Division St. in Springfield, where she bought a “Ca$h Plu$” Scratchers ticket.

“You never, ever think that anything like that is going to happen to you,” the winner shared.

While scratching the ticket, she saw that she was matching some numbers.

“I was like, ‘Oh cool, I won!’” she recalled. “Next thing I know, I scratch it off and it's $5,000. And the next one was $10,000. Then I started scratching like crazy!"

In the end, she had uncovered one of the game’s $100,000 top prizes.

“I started freaking out,” she laughed. "I'm so grateful."

She plans to use some of the winnings to take a family trip to the ocean.

In the FY21, players who purchased tickets in Greene County won more than $52.1 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. 
Retailers in the county received more than $4.9 million in commissions and bonuses, and education programs in the county received more than $21.6 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
