The following is a comprehensive list of the allocation of Missouri Lottery proceeds from fiscal years 1994 to 2008. The Lottery's proceeds are allocated annually by the Missouri Legislature to various programs provided through the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Missouri Department of Higher Education.
From fiscal years 1986 to 1993, Lottery profits were deposited in the state's General Revenue Fund, which included funds for Missouri's public education. In August 1992, Missouri voters approved Amendement 11, which earmarked Lottery proceeds for public education. The law went into effect on July 1, 2003, the beginning of fiscal year 1994.
