A Missouri Lottery retailer who sold a jackpot-winning Show Me Cash ticket in March recently sold a Powerball ticket worth $50,000.
The ticket, purchased at QuikTrip, 702 Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis, matched four of the five white-ball numbers drawn, plus the Powerball in the Sept. 16 drawing. The winning numbers were 8, 11, 19, 24 and 46, with a Powerball number of 5.
The prize was claimed Sept. 18 in the Lottery’s St. Louis regional office.
Saturday’s jackpot is $725 million – the third largest Powerball jackpot this year – and has an estimated cash value of $345.7 million.
Players who purchased tickets in St. Louis County in FY23 won more than $207.7 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers in the county received more than $20 million in commissions and bonuses, and education programs received more than $76 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
