Nov. 16, 2022

A couple of Missouri Lottery players are one step closer to retiring after winning a $1 million prize in the Nov. 7 Powerball drawing.

Encouraged by the record Powerball jackpot, the players stopped at Rosebud General Store, 248 Highway 50 in Rosebud, to purchase the lucky ticket.

“This was such a shock,” one of the winners shared. “We’re going to have a really nice retirement thanks to the Missouri Lottery.”

Their winning ticket matched all five white-ball numbers drawn: 10, 33, 41, 47 and 56. The Powerball number was 10.

The ticket was one of two $1 million Powerball prizes won in the Nov. 7 drawing.

Powerball is a $2 per play multi-state Draw Game with drawings held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. All current and past winning numbers can be found at MOLottery.com.

In FY22, players in Gasconade County won more than $3.6 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $356,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $424,000 in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
