A Missouri Lottery player in Cape Girardeau won a $50,000 Powerball prize when her ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers, plus the Powerball drawn in the Oct. 28 drawing. The winning numbers were 14, 24, 50, 59 and 64, with a Powerball number of 2.
The ticket was purchased at Acee’s Neighborhood Market, 2017 Perryville Road, in Cape Girardeau.
Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is estimated at $280 million.
Through Jan. 9, Missouri Lottery players can enter their eligible Draw Games tickets and holiday-themed Scratchers tickets into the “Second Chance of a Lifetime: Anchors Away” holiday promotion for a chance to win taxes-paid cruises, coastal escapes or cash prizes.
Players who purchased tickets in Cape Girardeau County in FY23 won more than $12.8 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers in the county received more than $1.1 million in commissions and bonuses, and education programs received more than $8.6 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
