$100,000 Taxes-Paid Prize Won In Higginsville

A Scratchers player in Lafayette County has uncovered the first of four top prizes in the Missouri Lottery’s “$100,000 Taxes Paid” Scratchers game. The winning ticket was purchased at Walmart, 1180 W. 19th St., in Higginsville.

In the most recent fiscal year, players won more than $3.8 million in prizes from Missouri Lottery tickets purchased in Lafayette County. The county’s retailers received more than $384,000 in commissions and bonuses and educational programs in the county received more than $687,000 in appropriated Lottery proceeds.

$100,000 Taxes Paid” is a $5 Scratchers game that became available in July. Since then, players statewide have won more than $8.6 million of the game’s prizes, with more than $3.9 million currently unclaimed, including three other top prizes of $100,000, taxes paid.
