Story Photo A stop at a convenience store for a bagel turned out to be worth $100,000 to one Kimberling City couple.   James Boesing, 58, said he stopped in Rapid Roberts, 11907 State Highway 13 in Kimberling City on March 20 to buy a bagel.  While there, he bought one $5 "Monte Carlo" Scratchers ticket.  Boesing scratched some of it off at the store, and when he kept winning, he decided to take the ticket home and let his wife, Marguerite, 57, help him finish scratching off the latex.  To their surprise, the ticket turned out to be worth $100,000.

The Boesings said they plan to use their prize money to pay off their boat, add a deck to their home, buy new carpet and pay taxes.

"Monte Carlo," a $5 Scratchers game, officially went on sale March 1.
