MEXICO MAN CLAIMS $20,000 PRIZE
An 18-year-old Mexico man can buy a new car after finding a $20,000 prize on a Missouri Lottery "Pot O’ Gold" Scratchers ticket. Brandon Weldon said he bought four of the $2 tickets on March 19, when he stopped in Break Time, 1411 Monroe in Mexico, to buy a soda. "My car broke down a month ago, and I have been saving money to fix it," said Weldon, who works for Schulte’s Seamless Gutters in Mexico.
"Pot O’ Gold," a $2 Scratchers game, officially went on sale Feb. 1.
