SEDALIA WOMAN WINS $5,000 IN POWERBALL
A Sedalia woman recently claimed a $5,000 Powerball prize from the Feb. 22 drawing. Renee Lindgren, 47, said she plans to use the money to buy some items for her home, like a new stove and doors. Lindgren is employed with Best Western in Sedalia. She won the Powerball prize by matching four of the five white-ball numbers and the Powerball number. She let the computer generate her winning numbers. Those numbers were: 5, 6, 9, 10 and the Powerball number was 26.
