BOWLING BUDDIES SHARE $10,000 KENO PRIZE

Story Photo Three St. Louis area bowling buddies are sharing more than their scores after winning $10,000 in Club Keno on Jan. 30.   John Morgan of Lemay, Kraig Langeneckgert of St. Louis and Robert Armstrong of High Ridge say they have been playing Club Keno regularly after their Thursday night league bowling games at Show Me Lanes Bowling Center, 4575 Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis.  After bowling on Jan. 30, they played Club Keno, and they knew right away that their $1 wager on an 8-spot game was a winner when all eight numbers were drawn.  The trio will split the $10,000 equally for approximately $3,333 each before taxes.

Morgan, 47, a plasterer, said he plans to use his winnings to take a cruise next year with his wife, Jayne.   Langeneckgert, 43, who works for Ameren Union Electric, said he’s not sure what he will do with his prize money, beyond putting it in the bank.  Armstrong, 51, a mold maker, said he plans to use some of his winnings to have fun at the casinos.

Club Keno began on May 28.   Players can win from $1 to $100,000 per $1 ticket per drawing.  For more information on the game, go to www.molottery.com.
