IMPERIAL WOMAN WINS $34,428.63 IN CASH AND PRIZES ON GAME SHOW
A professional cleaner from Imperial won $34,428.63 on the Missouri Lottery’s "Fun & Fortune" television game show, which aired this past weekend.
Kelley Minardi, 41, competed in the show’s "Nest Egg" preliminary round where she won $14,420, $300 worth of "Ten Grand" Scratchers tickets and a seat in the "$10,000 Championship" round. During the later round, Minardi won $10,000 but opted to risk losing half or increasing it to possibly $250,000 in the "Mega Multiplier" bonus round.
In the end, Minardi chose a brand new F150 truck, bringing her total cash and prize winnings to $34,428.63 to date. Minardi will return again next week as the champion.
Minardi purchased her qualifying ticket at Express Mart in Barnhart. The store received $1,406.95, an amount equal to 5 percent of Minardi’s winnings, for selling the qualifying ticket.
The other contestants and their winnings from last weekend’s show are:
- Travis Stauffer, California, won $7,362;
- Luke Folsom, Lexington, won $1,000;
- Ron Johnson, Granby, won $900 and $500 worth of Citgo cash cards;
- Mike Darden, Springfield, won $800;
- Carol Watson, Troy, won $600.
Nine home partners won a total of $3,610 on the show. Robert Spurgeon, Eldon, won $1,443; Bob Jones, Oak Ridge, won $1,000; Collin Henson, Potosi, won $737; Ron Reppy, Dittmer, won $100; Edward Smith, Troy, won $90; Millie Admire, Brookfield, won $80; Jim Miller, Imperial, won $60; Albert Whittaker, Hannibal, and Keith Kelley, Eldon, both won $50 each.
