An Ava grandma will be spoiling her 12 grandchildren royally after winning $100,000 in the Dec. 21 Powerball drawing.   Billie McGill, 75, said she has 12 grandkids on whom she plans to spend some of her winnings.

"It was really unbelievable," she said about her win.

McGill said she buys Powerball tickets "every once in awhile."  She bought her winning ticket at Signal Food Store in Ava.  She let the computer generate the winning numbers.  They were:  5, 22, 34, 39 and 52.

To date, 636 Powerball tickets sold in Missouri have matched all five white-ball numbers drawn to win the $100,000 prize.
