St. Charles Man Wins $55,558 on Bingo Scratchers Ticket

Many Missouri Lottery players enjoy the extra time it takes to play a bingo-themed Scratchers ticket, and Richard Niles can be counted among them. He’s always appreciated the game play involved in scratching off the tickets’ six “cards,” and now he can appreciate what it feels like to land a top prize, too. The St. Charles resident uncovered a $55,558 prize on the “Bingo Night” Scratchers ticket he purchased at Petro Mart, 2240 N. Third St., in St. Charles.

“I like all the bingo games, because it takes a little longer to play them,” he said, while redeeming his winning ticket at the Lottery’s St. Louis office.

A flooring salesman, Niles plans to pay down bills with his winnings. But as he claimed his prize on a cold January afternoon, he also entertained thoughts of going somewhere a little warmer.

“I would like to put my toes in the sand,” he shared. “Can’t do that outside today!”

Bingo Night” officially began sales on May 23, 2016. The $3 game still has more than $3.6 million in remaining prizes, including another top prize of $55,558. Players can track remaining prizes for all Missouri Lottery Scratchers games here at MOLottery.com.
