Branson Woman Scores $327,000 Jackpot

As the Show Me Cash jackpot grew, Rhonda Hall decided to do something she rarely does. She purchased a ticket for the daily Missouri Lottery Draw Game, while making a quick stop at a convenience store on her way to work. The spur-of-the-moment decision resulted in a $327,000 payday for the 59-year-old waitress.

Hall bought the Quick Pick ticket – with the winning number combination of 3, 6, 16, 25 and 27 – at White Oak Station, 3200 Green Mountain Drive, in Branson.  She went back to the store the morning after the drawing, still unaware of her win, and casually scanned her ticket at the Check-A-Ticket machine.

“It said I was a winner,” she explained. “So I asked the cashier how much it was, and… well, it was hard to believe.”

A regular customer at White Oak Station, Hall said the workers there were “thrilled” for her win.

“And the employees at my work were shocked. They didn’t know if it was real or not. It’s still hard to believe it’s real.”

She plans to pay some of her good fortune forward by helping needy families at Christmas.

“I’m not going to do anything lavish with it myself,” she continued. “Maybe get a new roof on the house.”

Hall’s win marks the 433rd winning Show Me Cash jackpot ticket sold since the game began in 2008.

Show Me Cash is a $1 daily Draw Game with a jackpot that starts at $50,000 and grows until someone wins. So far in 2016, there have been 47 winning jackpot tickets with an average prize of more than $160,234.
