$95,000 Jackpot Won in Stone County

A Lampe resident turned a $1 Missouri Lottery Show Me Cash purchase into a $95,000 jackpot. Dwight Kays used Quick Pick to correctly match all five numbers drawn in the Sept. 26 drawing, which were: 10, 11, 15, 27 and 31.

Kays first realized his newly found fortune by watching the KY3 nightly news, which is how he typically checks his Draw Games tickets. While claiming his prize on Sept. 29, Kays said that he and his wife didn’t get excited about the win until they visited MOLottery.com, where they found out the ticket was worth $95,000 and that they were the sole winners of the prize. The couple plan on trading in their 2004 Ford Taurus for a newer vehicle and doing some renovations around the house.

The winning ticket was purchased at Harter House, 11798 Highway 13 in Kimberling City, which will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
A daily Draw Game, Show Me Cash features a jackpot that starts at $50,000 and rolls until won. Kays won the 424th jackpot in the game since it started in 2008. So far in 2016, 42 jackpots have been won in Show Me Cash with an average jackpot of $160,500.
