A 35-year-old Berger woman uncovered $2,100 in the Missouri Lottery’s "7-11-21" Scratchers game. Angela Penserum said she plans to use her winnings to remodel the upstairs of her home and pay taxes.
Penserum, who works for Waters Edge Camping Outlet, said she purchased two Scratchers tickets on Nov. 8 at Hermann Amoco, 500 Market St. in Hermann. One ticket was for her, and one ticket was for her husband, Lawrence. When she scratched the latex off her ticket, she found it was worth $2,100. Later, when they were in Washington, she bought another set of instant tickets for her and her husband. This time her ticket was worth $10.
"7-11-21" is a $1 Scratchers game that officially started on Oct. 12.
