MOBERLY MAN BUILDS RETIREMENT WITH PICK 4 WIN

A Moberly man added to his retirement savings after he won $3,125 playing Pick 4 on Oct. 1. Robert "Flash" Forth, 51, said he plans to invest his winnings for his retirement.

Forth, who is a corrections officer at Moberly Correctional Center, used a portion of a phone number to select his winning numbers, which were: 1, 9, 4 and 6. He purchased his winning ticket at Riley’s Self Serve, Rt. JJ in Moberly.

"I was kind of dumb-struck when the clerk showed me what I won," Forth said. "I still can’t believe it."
