A 9-1-1 dispatcher for St. Francois County had some personal excitement when he discovered his Powerball ticket was worth $100,000. Ryan Pratte, 24, of Bonne Terre said he had his mom check his tickets from the Sept. 4 drawing; she was the one who broke the news to him.
"I’ll help my mom and dad out a little bit," Pratte said.
He also plans to use his prize money to pay for college to help him become a paramedic.
Pratte purchased his winning ticket at Bonne Terre Citgo. He used Quick Pick to select the winning combination. Those numbers were: 15, 18, 26, 31 and 36.
To date, 613 Powerball tickets sold in Missouri have matched all five white-ball numbers drawn to win the $100,000 prize.
