Missouri Players Capture $400,000 In Saturday Night's Powerball Drawing

Though none of the two winning tickets for the $100 million Powerball jackpot were sold in Missouri, players who bought tickets in the state benefited by winning $400,000 in other prizes. Four players in Missouri won a $100,000 prize, and 67,712 other tickets are worth prizes ranging from $3 to $5,000.

"The important thing is to check your tickets closely," said Gary Gonder, director of communications for the Missouri Lottery. "You may not have matched all the numbers or even the Powerball number, but you still may have won a substantial prize."

Saturday night’s winning Powerball numbers are: 5, 14, 26, 3, 40 and the Powerball number is 29.

The four $100,000 prizes were sold at:

  • Karen’s Kwik Mart, 7004A Monticello in Barnhart;
  • Round the Clock Food Mart, 1500 N. Bluff in Fulton;
  • Harrisonville Fireworks, 21501 E. 275th St. in Harrisonville;
  • Till Oil Co., Main St. in Stewartsville.

Since the jackpot began building on July 20, 17 Missouri Powerball players have won the game’s $100,000 prize.
