IBERIA WOMAN WINS $10,002 PLAYING CLUB KENO

Story Photo An Iberia woman turned $2 into $10,002 playing Club Keno at the Junction Bar & Grill, Highway 17 in Iberia, Sunday. Tina Alderman, who co-owns Junction Bar & Grill along with her husband, Bud, was visiting with restaurant patrons when she decided to play Club Keno.

"We had a band that night, and I was too busy to even notice that I won," Alderman said. "We checked (the ticket) later and found out it was a winner."

Alderman said she matched all seven numbers on a seven-spot game with a $2 ticket. She selected her winning numbers at random.

Alderman said she and her husband plan to use the prize money to pay bills. Club Keno began on May 28. Players can win from $1 to $100,000 per $1 ticket per drawing.
