MAN FROM PECULIAR WINS $100,000

A man from Peculiar won $100,000 by playing Powerball on Aug. 28. Donald Martin, 43, purchased his winning ticket at Temp Stop, 1749 S.E. Langsford in Lee’s Summit. He let the computer pick the winning combination. Those numbers were: 24, 30, 36, 37 and 38.

To date, 608 Powerball tickets sold in Missouri have matched all five white-ball numbers drawn to win the $100,000 prize.
