Group Shares $50,000 Powerball Prize

A group of 16 St. Louis area residents are cashing in on a $50,000 Missouri Lottery Powerball prize. The group purchased their winning ticket from Discount Smoke Shop, 4340 Loughborough Ave. in St. Louis, for the Aug. 6 drawing, and correctly matched four white ball numbers and the Powerball number – 20, 33, 36, 47 and 52 with a Powerball of 12 – to win their prize.

The group of 16 winners, each receiving a $3,125 share before taxes, includes:  Lisa Schwartz of Barnhart; Jerold Donahue of Godfrey, Ill.; Janice Tobin of Manchester; Charles Perkins of St. Charles; Ashley Belloir, Darlene Chapman, Sandra Griffin, Shirley Hayes, Julia Kozuszek, Christine Mace, Nelson Mitten, Justin Ruth, and Teresa Schmick, all of St. Louis; Terry Blevins of St. Peters; Samantha Stragliati of Robertsville; and Jullian Piechocinski of Wildwood.
