LIBERTY MAN CLAIMS $100,000 POWERBALL PRIZE

Story Photo A Liberty man is $100,000 richer after he matched all five white-ball numbers drawn in the Aug. 24 Powerball drawing. Daniel Pedersen, 55, purchased his winning ticket at Liberty Phillips 66, 920 Sutton Place in Liberty. He selected his winning numbers at random. They were: 5, 10, 18, 24 and 45. To date, 608 Powerball tickets sold in Missouri have matched all five white-ball numbers drawn to win the $100,000 prize.
