St. Louis Man Claims $100,000 Powerball Prize

A St. Louis man used Power Play to turn his $50,000 Missouri Lottery prize into $100,000. Robert Spiker, 69, bought $10 worth of Quick Pick tickets for the June 15 Powerball drawing at QuikTrip, 3475 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis. He added Power Play, and when he matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball number that night, Power Play turned the $50,000 prize into $100,000.

The winning Powerball numbers on June 15 were:  4, 22, 24, 31, 33, and the Powerball number was 10.

Powerball is a multi-state Draw Game with jackpots that start at $40 million and grow until someone wins. For an extra $1 at the time of purchase, players can add Power Play to their ticket and win larger non-jackpot prizes.
