A trip to On The Run, 1111 Main St. in Imperial, for Missouri Lottery Scratchers tickets paid out $30,000 for Martie Schollmeyer of St. Louis.

“I usually buy $12 worth of tickets between Scratchers and Draw Games,” said Schollmeyer, while claiming her top prize on May 31.

After purchasing a handful of tickets, Schollmeyer, 62, noticed that she had requested one too many tickets and ended up spending $13.

“I said, ‘Oh, well, that’s just lucky number 13,’ and it was!”

The grandmother of two won her $30,000 top prize on a “$100 Frenzy” Scratchers ticket by matching all 10 numbers on the ticket. Each of the 10 matches had a $3,000 prize.

With her prize, Schollmeyer and her husband, Dale, are setting their sights on purchasing property in Branson.

“We have a condo in Branson now, but we want to buy a cabin down there instead. So we’re going to look into that a bit further and put the condo up for sale,” said Schollmeyer, adding that she and her husband frequently travel to Branson each summer.
Schollmeyer claimed one of eight $30,000 top prizes available in the “$100 Frenzy” Scratchers game. Introduced on Dec. 29, 2015, the $2 game has more than $6.6 million in prizes remaining. Information on all Missouri Lottery Scratchers games can be found here at MOLottery.com.
