THREE PLAYERS WIN BIG PRIZES AT STATE FAIR

Not one, but three grand prizes were awarded to lottery players who entered non-winning tickets at the Missouri Lottery booth at this year’s Missouri State Fair, Aug. 8 through 18. Doris Shipman of Paola, Kan., won a Polaris Magnum 325 4x4 ATV, Tracy Rank of Lincoln won a big-screen TV, and Daryl Funk of Grover (63040) won a trip for four to Hawaii plus $1,000 cash.

This year, players selected the grand prize they would like to win by entering their non-winning tickets into the barrel for that prize. Each day, 10 winners were drawn from each barrel to receive $100 in Scratchers for a total of 330 daily winners. Those preliminary winners were then entered into the grand-prize drawing for that prize. (Go to molottery.com for a complete list of daily winners and additional information.)
