Fordland Man Wins $100,000 Lottery Prize

Consistency is the key to winning the Missouri Lottery, according to Hurrlen Newell of Fordland. The retiree has been playing the Lottery consistently for many years and the dedication finally paid off on Feb. 26. Newell bought a $100,000 winning Scratchers ticket at Price Cutter, 5504 N. 17th St., in Ozark. He claimed his prize later that day in the Springfield Lottery office.

Newell won by playing the “$1,000,000 Platinum Payout” Scratchers game.
