ST. LOUIS POSTAL WORKER WINS $100,000

A mail processor for the United States Post Office is still processing the fact that she won $100,000 by playing Powerball in Missouri on July 31. Janice Creach, 51, said she plans to use her prize money to pay bills, take a vacation next year and maybe invest some of it. Creach purchased her winning ticket at Alcorn’s Citgo Food Mart, 5470 S. Lindbergh in St. Louis. She picked the numbers on her winning ticket at random and has been playing them for the past six years. They are: 2, 4, 6, 22 and 34. To date, 599 Powerball tickets sold in Missouri have matched all five white-ball numbers drawn to win the $100,000 prize.
