A slow day at work resulted in a $100,000 Missouri Lottery Scratchers prize for Michael Fears of Branson. Fears purchased his winning “Win It All” ticket on Dec. 10 from 76 Express, 3305 W. Highway 76, in Branson.

While claiming his $100,000 top prize, Fears, who owns 76 Express, recalled picking the winning ticket,

“It was spur-of-the-moment. I just reached down and grabbed this one because it was sticking out (of the dispenser) farther than the rest of them. I grabbed it to get it out of my way,” laughed Fears.

Fears, 58, uncovered his $100,000 prize on the ticket’s “Scratch My Back” feature, which is an additional play area on the back of the ticket.

“When I flipped it over and scratched off the back it said $20,000, and I thought to myself, ‘Well that was kind of nice.’ Then I scratched some more and saw some more $20,000s. Then it was a big deal,” remembered Fears, who added that he had previously won a $25,000 taxes-paid prize on the Lottery’s old Show Me 5 Paydown Draw Game, which is now the Show Me Cash Draw Game.

The father of two claimed his prize on Dec. 11 at the Lottery’s Springfield regional office, and he plans on using the majority of his winnings as a nest egg for the upcoming slow business season.
“Then I think I’m going to Disney World®. It will be a big event,” concluded Fears.
Win It All” is a $5 Scratchers ticket that was officially introduced on Sept. 8. The game includes prizes ranging from $5 to $100,000, and has more than $8.7 million in prizes remaining. Additional Missouri Lottery Scratchers information can be found here at MOLottery.com.
