Gift Responsibly During the Holidays

This holiday season, the Missouri Lottery has again joined an international campaign promoting responsible gifting. For years, the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) and the International Centre for Youth Gambling Problems and High-Risk Behaviors at McGill University have partnered with lotteries across the world to remind all lottery players to “Give Responsibly this Holiday Season – Lottery Tickets Are Not Child’s Play.”

“We want to remind our players during the season of giving to be mindful to whom they are gifting our games,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director of the Missouri Lottery. “While our products make perfect stocking stuffers and gifts for loved ones, they are not intended to be gifts for anyone under 18.”

This year marks the eighth year of the annual holiday campaign. Additional information about the campaign can be found at NCPGambling.org.
