A Kansas City man can now spruce up his new home after winning $118,000 playing the Missouri Lottery’s Show Me Cash game. Phillip “Phil” Duciaume, a retired General Motors employee, said he and his wife, Linda, just bought a new house two months ago, and they will “put it (money) to very good use.”

Duciaume, 68, said he has been playing the same three sets of numbers for the past eight years, though he can’t remember how he picked them. His winning number combination for the Nov. 27 drawing was 2, 8, 10, 20 and 29, on a ticket he bought at Macaluso’s Thriftway, 5004 NE Parvin Road in Kansas City.

In addition to working on their new home, the Duciaumes plan to invest some money and use some winnings to help Linda with her upcoming retirement.

Show Me Cash is a $1 daily Draw Game with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until someone wins. So far in 2015, there have been 42 winning jackpot tickets with the average prize amount worth $172,619.
