A Lebanon man claimed the final top prize on a popular Missouri Lottery Scratchers game. Chad Sicard, 36, bought a “Heaps of $500s” Scratchers ticket at Break Time, 101 E. Seventh St., in Lebanon. He uncovered the $100,000 prize while scratching the ticket in his car.

“I couldn’t believe it,” said Sicard, about the moment he realized he had a winning ticket.

He added that he normally pays for his gas at the pump, but he will go in the store and buy a Lottery ticket when he has cash. You can now play Draw Games at the pump at many locations around the state.

Sicard said he stays busy detailing cars for local dealerships, and he was pumped about the win. He wasn’t sure how to spend the money, but he knew that he would pay some bills. Most of the windfall would go to help his family of a wife and two kids.

Heaps of $500s” is a $5 game that officially began April 13.
