Casting Call: Missouri Lottery Seeks Students for Next Commercial

The Missouri Lottery is looking for a few great students! The Lottery is currently searching for public school and college students to appear in its next television commercial.

“We thought it would be fun to have real students tell us their dreams and goals,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director of the Missouri Lottery. “Since 100 percent of our profits go to public education, we thought it would be interesting to let the students tell how education impacts their lives.”

To participate, Missouri students must answer the question, “What do you want to achieve in school?” using video or through a photo and submit their response at molottery.com/myschoolgoals. They can also post their answer on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #MySchoolGoals.

The submission period ends Oct. 25 at midnight. All Missouri public school students from kindergarten to post-graduate are eligible to enter.

One lucky student will be randomly selected to win an Apple iPad Air 2. The best and most creative entries could also be selected to appear in an upcoming Missouri Lottery education-themed commercial.
To enter, students should

1. Tell us, in their own words, what they hope to accomplish in school in a video, photo or drawing. All Missouri public school students from kindergarten to post-graduate are eligible.
2. Publish their answer on a popular social media account, like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Vine, using the hashtag #myschoolgoals or submit their answer using the space provided on the My School Goals web page at MOLottery.com using 140 characters or less.
