Lexington Resident Wins More Than $8,000 on Club Keno

A keen eye and a stroke of luck have landed a Lexington resident a $8,061 Missouri Lottery Club Keno prize. Doss Sweet, 63, purchased his winning 7-spot Club Keno ticket from Old Town Bar & Grill, 2312 S. Street in Lexington, on Oct. 15. Sweet claimed his prize at the Lottery’s Kansas City regional office the following day.
While claiming, the father revealed that he selected his own numbers after noticing a handful of numbers being drawn throughout the night. Sweet selected seven of those numbers and played a 7-spot ticket. The strategy paid off with a $8,061 haul for the retired utility worker. The winner had not made any plans for the prize money at the time of claiming.

To play Club Keno, players can choose how many different numbers (also called “spots”) they want to play from 1 to 10. Twenty numbers from a field of one to 80 are chosen in a computerized random Club Keno drawing held every four minutes.  To learn more about Club Keno or any of the Missouri Lottery games, visit MOLottery.com.
