Story Photo

Three individuals are evenly splitting a $1 million Missouri Lottery prize. Farah and Justin Shaddix of Cape Girardeau and Erik Kneebone of St. Peters claimed the seven-figure Powerball prize on Oct. 5. The trio won their prize after correctly matching the five white-ball numbers in the Sept. 26 drawing, which were:  23, 31, 42, 50 and 57. Each member of the group will take home approximately $333,333 before taxes.

The group purchased their winning ticket from Jackson Mart, 1402 Old Cape Road, in Jackson. The retail location received a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning Powerball ticket.

Powerball is a $2 per play multi-state Draw Game that features jackpots starting at $40 million. Powerball drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Research all current and past winning numbers here at MOLottery.com.
