Two Missouri Powerball Players Win $1 Million, Another Player Wins $10,000

Two Powerball tickets worth $1 million were sold in Missouri for the Sept. 26 drawing. They were sold at: Speed Zone, 1137 W. Kansas St., in Liberty; and Jackson Mart, 1402 Old Cape Road, in Jackson. The five winning white-ball numbers were: 23, 31, 42, 50 and 57.

“If you’re holding one of these tickets, you should sign the back of it right away,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director for the Missouri Lottery. “Then keep it in a safe place until you are ready to claim your prize at one of our Lottery offices.”

Draw Game winners, including those who play Powerball, have exactly 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize, which, in this case, would be March 24, 2016. Prizes can be claimed at any of the Lottery’s four offices, which are located in Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield and Jefferson City.

In addition, one player matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000. That ticket was sold at Casey’s General Store in Mexico.
