A Lebanon city employee has stepped forward to claim a $1 million Powerball prize. Paul Stewart, 57, won the $1 million Missouri Lottery prize in the Sept. 5 Powerball drawing. He purchased his winning Quick Pick ticket at Melton’s 64-73 Junction, 699 State Highway 64, in Buffalo. The winning numbers were:  10, 16, 18, 29 and 45. Melton’s 64-73 Junction received a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Stewart said he planned to pay some bills and live a little more comfortably.

Powerball is a twice-weekly Draw Game with jackpots that start at $40 million and grow until someone wins. For an extra $1 at the time of purchase, players can add Power Play to their ticket and win larger non-jackpot prizes. With Power Play, the $1 million Match 5 prize becomes $2 million.
