Southwest Missouri currently boasts two unclaimed $1 million Powerball prizes, after a Missouri Lottery player bought a ticket at Melton’s 64-73 Junction, 699 State Highway 64 in Buffalo, that matched all five white-ball numbers drawn in Saturday’s Powerball drawing. This ticket holder joins another $1 million winner, who purchased a winning ticket at Kum & Go, 16140 Highway 59 in Neosho, for the April 11 drawing and has yet to claim the prize.

The Buffalo win marks the seventh time so far in 2015 that a Missouri player has won the $1 million Match 5 prize. The winning number combination for the Saturday, Sept. 5, drawing was:  10, 16, 18, 29 and 45.

“If you’re holding either of these tickets – from Buffalo or Neosho – please sign the back of it immediately,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director for the Missouri Lottery. “Then keep it in a safe place until you are ready to claim your prize at one of our Lottery offices.”

Draw Game winners, including those who play Powerball, have exactly 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. The Buffalo winner has until March 3, 2016, while the ticketholder in Neosho has until Oct. 8. Prizes can be claimed at any of the Lottery’s four offices, which are located in Springfield, Kansas City, Jefferson City and St. Louis.

This Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is estimated at $149 million.
