Another St. Louis Player to Become Powerball Millionaire

Story Photo

For the second time in a little more than a month, a St. Louis Powerball player has become a millionaire. One ticket sold at Circle K, 9311 S. Broadway in St. Louis, matched all five white-ball numbers drawn to win the second-level prize worth $1 million. The winning numbers are 8, 13, 29, 38 and 52.

“If you find yourself holding this ticket, you should first make sure it is signed,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director for the Missouri Lottery. “Then keep it in a safe place until you are ready to claim your prize at one of our Lottery offices.”

In addition to the million-dollar ticket, another winning ticket worth $10,000 was sold in St. Louis for last night’s Powerball drawing. That ticket was sold at Cheap N Cheap, 3235 N. Service Road E., in Foristell.

On the Fourth of July, a St. Louis couple won the $70 million Powerball jackpot with a ticket they purchased using family birthdays at Gas Mart, 6901 Hampton Ave., in St. Louis.

Draw Game winners, including Powerball, have exactly 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winners have until Feb. 8, 2016. Prizes can be claimed at any of the Lottery’s four offices, which are located in St. Louis, Springfield, Kansas City and Jefferson City.
